2026 Award Winner Luis Contreras

In 2026, the Board selected Luis Contreras. Luis has volunteered with our Facilities team, spent years handling small committee tasks and more advanced director tasks, and even ascended to the executive committee a few years ago.

This award truly honors the best of us. You don't have to be an aerospace engineer, a master chef, an airline pilot, or a corporate executive to win this award. You simply need to make our show — and the people around our show — better. He has a unique, genuine way of making those around him feel comfortable. That's what a volunteer does: support the show and make everyone around you smile and shine. Luis was key to improving our bar efficiency by rethinking layout, staffing, and supply management. During this year's show, stop by any of our bars and raise a toast to Luis. Thank you, Luis!
